Setup by Tom Kidd we aim to help Hospitality operators of all sizes. We work as advisors on both a project basis or an Advisory nature if that’s what you need. We work with a variety of suppliers dependant on circumstances and play well with others.

Tom Kidd

Started working in Hospitality aged 15, working in various pubs, restaurants and Retail. Tom worked for Whitbread, TGI Fridays, Disney and Beatone before starting his own Bar Company with 3 friends. That business grew over a number of years and included nationwide brands such as Tonight Josephine, Blame Gloria, Luna Springs, Bar Elba & The Escapologist. A multi award winning cocktail bar brand it was eventually sold to NightCap Plc, where Tom eventually became Group Commercial director overseeing all Sales, Marketing, Systems, Procurement and Property. A hands on individual that enjoys making change happen he became bored off his tits, so he left to start his own business once again in 2023.

Achievements

Commercial Director – NightCap PLC

Oversaw the Coordination and execution of multi business projects including:
– Scoping & Implementation of Zero Carbon Forum membership to drive group wide ESG plans
– Implementation of groupwide AI assisted Electricity monitoring and Management infrastructure resulting in 20% reduction of site level consumption
– Managed follow up and execution of group wide projects

Managing Director / Founder Adventure Bar Group

Guided commercial endeavors, orchestrating an early-stage debt raise and financial blueprint, leading to the establishment and growth of a novel chain of cocktail bars renowned for unique concepts, premium offerings, and exceptional customer service. Brands like Tonight Josephine, Blame Gloria, and Luna Springs flourished under our team’s culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, propelling us to industry leadership. Our achievements were celebrated with multiple “Best UK Bar” accolades at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, and “Best Venue” by Design My Night.

Navigated through the pandemic’s challenges (2020 – Mid 2021), steering a corporate restructure, refinancing to mitigate cash flow strain, and innovating a replicable and profitable Brunch model. This strategic adaptation fueled our expansion to 11 venues with a £16 million turnover.

Transitioning to the next phase (Mid 21 – Winter 23), orchestrated a complex transaction culminating in the acquisition by Nightcap plc, refurbishing 6 sites, and launching 6 new venues within 18 months. Managed a robust rollout program, opening a venue every 6 weeks, and led a team of 450, achieving a turnover of £24 million.

During my tenure as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development (Jan 2016 – Jan 2018), I steered the brand-centric strategy for venue rollout, leveraging social media to foster brand engagement, and managing all marketing facets. Created award-winning standalone concepts and industry-changing brands like ‘Tonight Josephine’ & ‘Blame Gloria’, earning accolades like Design My Night Best Bar 2017 and UKH Best New Brand 2017.

As Financial Director (Jan 2006 – Dec 2012), I spearheaded the in-house execution of all financial systems, from implementing a payroll system for 100 employees to managing bookkeeping, relationships with financial stakeholders, and multiple debt raises for capital projects, ensuring financial diligence and optimization during a period of undercapitalization.
